- Field Day Segment 1 – 6 hours ([Pre-requisite: Complete Online Segment 1 by Sept. 26)
- Describing Soil Characteristics in the Field
- Using tools for soil evaluation
- Determining soil texture, structure and consistence
- Determining soil color
- Identifying limiting conditions
- Preparing a soil profile description
- Describing Soil Characteristics in the Field
CEUs
- The workshop has been approved by the Ohio Department of Health and the Sanitarian Registration Board for 6 hours of continuing education credit per segment.
Who Should Participate
- Registered sanitarians, soil scientists, sanitary engineers, installers and others who work on small and onsite wastewater treatment systems will benefit from these workshops.

- Each segment and field day is $200 per person. In addition, textbooks need to be purchased as hard copy or ebooks.
